Graphic expressions for Houdini activists
Houdini Sportswear is one of Europe's most progressive, sustainable outdoor brands. And they have been a dear client over the years. Our latest collaboration was formed around their need for graphic expressions. They seeked an expression that could state their core brand activist message on their garments. And that could also resonate with the current collection theme.
In a collaborative process with Houdini’s Head of Design & Product, Jesper Danielsson, develop and draw prints that resonated with Houdini’s core values and current collection theme. At the same time find a durable expression that could be applied in many color variations and last for more than one season.
Three print designs originally drawn with ink on paper, application tests, final originals and a set of color combinations. We generated piles of drafts, sketches and material. You’ll find both those who made it and some of the ones that never got selected below. Enjoy!
